Passion In Possibility.

Oh my goodness, I am feeling so encouraged. My heart and soul are exploding with excitement at the thought of my dreams actually being tangible. 

For the past few years I have had the dream to run my own Inn/ Bed and Breakfast. Today I feel like I am one tiny step closer... I don't care how tiny of a step it is, I'll take it!! My Hospitality Management professor gave us the assignment to interview someone in the position we hope to be in one day. I was able to interview the most encouraging, lovely woman, Rosemary. She owns one of the most beautiful Bed and Breakfasts in Rochester, The Ellwanger Estate. I don't know if it is possible to be "in love" with a building but I absolutely am. I instantly fell in love with this place.

How can you not just love this place? It makes my heart feel welcome. Rosemary said "The house has good bones and a good soul." It truly does. Hearing her story was so encouraging, it makes me so excited to see what the future holds for me. I see so many possibilities right now. I'm hoping for a possible internship next summer?? Eeeee keeping my fingers crossed. I am giddy at the sight of a house... normal? probably not, but I just can't control it. I'm in love.

Today is the most perfect Fall day in Rochester. Getting out of class at 11:00 on a Friday is a beautiful thing, it means I get to be sitting outside on the back patio enjoying this sunshine. I was sitting here just trying to find the words to describe how beautiful today is and then the song "Captivated" by Shawn McDonald came on my ipod. Perfect.

It is so incredible to have a God who is so in love with us that He creates breath taking moments just for us, He gave us mountains, night skies, air in our lungs, and a heart hungry for Him. Everything He created echoes His might. I deserve nothing, yet He has given me everything. How can I not be thankful? God is specifically seeking me, He is showing me His charm, His beauty, and His excellence. I am completely captivated. Thank you God for letting me know that I am captivated by You.
