I Believe In A Thing Called Love...

Here are some simple truths I believe.

I believe in God. I believe those who look to Him are radiant- Psalm 34:5. I believe in magic.  I believe love is not a fight, but its something worth fighting for. I believe miracles do happen. I believe in happily ever afters. I believe everything tastes better dipped in honey mustard. I believe in crossing the lines. I believe in faith, trust and pixie dust. I believe the bigger the hug, the better. I believe the only reason to buy Lucky Charms is to dig out all the marshmallows. I believe everyone is a living, breathing, priceless work of art. I believe in second chances. I believe shoes are more comfortable if they can be worn without socks. I believe in having a childlike faith. I believe the middle child of every family is the most fun. I believe it is too easy to take things for granted. I believe family is what matters most. I believe vanilla chai tea tastes like Christmas. I believe in being intentional. I believe we're never gonna survive, unless we get a little crazy. I believe love conquers all. I believe love wins. I believe it takes no time to fall in love, but it takes you years to know what love is. I believe sad books should come with a warning: do not read while at work. I believe being struck by lightening would be an exciting way to die. I believe in making mistakes, lots of mistakes. I believe seafood should stay in the sea, where it belongs. I believe you cannot change people, but people do have the ability to change. I believe love should be unconditional. I believe there are still genuine people out there somewhere. I believe having wrinkles in the corners of your eyes just means you've had a life full of laughter and smiles. I believe we will meet again one day. 

I believe this world was made for traveling.

Why Can't We Just Rewind?

If you could rewind your life back ten years what is one moment you would like to re-live?

My brother and I were having this conversation earlier today, what would you want to go back and experience again if you got the chance. My answer came to me without a second of hesitation. I would go back to Walt Disney World in Epcot and re-live seeing the Tapestry of Nations millennium parade. In 2000 my family went to Disney World for the first time, and the first night seeing this parade I fell so in love with it, so much that I convinced my dad to take me back to see it again the next night. The music, the colors, the dancing, the joy... ahhh no greater feeling. Being back in Disney this past year, doing the College Program made me miss the trip I had taken with my family so much, I hated being there without them, it just didn't feel right. I wanted to share every moment of everything I was doing with them. The very first night I was allowed to go into the parks with my ID I went to Epcot to see the firework show, Illuminations. At the end of Illuminations, music began to play that I thought I recognized from the parade back to 2000 so I immediately called my dad to tell him about it and I ended up bursting out in tears because I just wanted to be sharing it with him so badly. If I got the chance to re-live any moment it would definitely be that parade, I want to re-live those feelings of being filled and overflowing with child-like joy.
